Precise WeatherSpray Applicators

For custom ground rigs, ag retailers, aerial and drone applicators covering corn, soybean and cotton acres

Know which loads go out before the trucks roll.

The costly call

One load in the wrong air puts drift on a neighbour

One load sprayed into an inversion or a 12 mph wind can put drift on a neighbour's beans, cotton or orchard. Then the complaint, the investigation and the claim land on the applicator.

How it works

From your place to an answer

  1. Pin your fields

Drop a pin on each field you cover.

  2. Pick the load

Herbicide, dicamba, fungicide, aerial, drone, burndown or defoliant.

  3. See the window

See the next window, how sure it is and what is holding it back: wind, inversion, rain or heat.

What you get

Built for custom ground rigs, ag retailers, aerial and drone applicators covering corn, soybean and cotton acres

  • Inversion watch

Inversion odds around sunset and sunrise for the next three nights, with how many forecast runs agree.

  • Load planner

Sprayable hours per day for the next 7 days, by load type, and how many forecast runs have room for a full load.

  • Dicamba temperature cap

The 95 °F stop and the 85–95 °F half-acreage call for today and tomorrow, from the forecast high.

  • Aerial load check

Fixed-wing and helicopter loads add 80 m wind for the plane on top of the 2–10 mph drift band.

  • Drone loads

Spray-drone loads get their own, tighter wind and gust limits.

  • Label limits you can edit

Every limit shows its label source, and you can change it to match the label in your cab.

The loads it times

  • Herbicide load (post-emerge, Enlist-type)

Post-emerge herbicide on a boom; drift onto a neighbour's crop is the cost. Needs 4 rain-free hours afterwards to be rainfast.

    3-hour window · daylight only

  • Dicamba load (Engenia / Stryax / Tavium, over the top)

Restricted-use dicamba on dicamba-tolerant soybean or cotton under the 2026–2027 labels. Sprays from 1 hour after sunrise to 2 hours before sunset (your time-of-day setting). The 95 °F / 85 °F temperature caps are shown in the Dicamba temperature cap card.

    3-hour window · daylight only

  • Fungicide / insecticide load

Ground-rig fungicide or insecticide; needs coverage and a dry few hours afterwards.

    3-hour window · daylight only

  • Aerial load (fixed-wing or helicopter)

Ag aircraft releasing up to 10 ft above the crop; wind aloft and inversions matter more than on a ground rig. The 80 m wind is a proxy for the wind the aircraft turns in, not the release height.

    4-hour window · daylight only

  • Drone load

Part 137 spray drone; rotor wash and a light airframe make wind and gusts tighter than for a ground rig.

    3-hour window · daylight only

  • Burndown / pre-plant

Burndown ahead of planting (paraquat, glyphosate tank mixes) on fields with no crop up. Burndown is slow in cold weather; the soil-moisture limit stands in for rig carrying capacity (one forecast, no odds).

    4-hour window · daylight only

  • Cotton defoliation / harvest aid

Harvest-aid pass on cotton; works poorly in cool weather and must stay on the leaf. Needs 48 hours at 55 °F or warmer afterwards.

    4-hour window · daylight only

What else it watches

  • Inversion watch
  • Load planner
  • Dicamba temperature cap
  • Wind aloft for the ag plane
  • Rain on your fields, last and next 7 days
  • Two dry days for a pre-plant run

Every answer counts the forecast runs that keep the whole load inside your limits, at your field.

Questions

Asked before you start

How is this different from a weather app?

A weather app gives one forecast. We check every hour against your load's label limits in up to 146 separate forecast runs. Then we tell you the share of runs where the whole load fits.

Can I keep a record of my spray calls?

Yes. Log a window and the decision log keeps the verdict, the share of forecast runs that passed and the conditions the forecast showed, with your note. Export it to CSV whenever you need it.

What data does it use?

Hourly forecasts plus up to 146 forecast runs from three independent forecast systems for your field's grid cell, pooled and judged run by run and refreshed through the day. Inversion odds use only the runs that publish 80 m temperature — 31 or fewer of up to 146. Soil moisture comes from one forecast, with no odds.

Does it know my product's label?

The defaults come from named labels and extension summaries. Products differ, so set each limit from the label in your cab. The dicamba time-of-day and rain-free rules differ between extension summaries, so they are settings you choose.

Does it cover aerial and drone?

Yes. Each has its own load type and limits, and aerial adds 80 m wind.
