Precise Weather

Beta Terms

Dated 5 October 2026

This is a plain-language summary of the terms you agree to when you apply to the beta.

Who we are

Precise Weather is operated by Kulina Pte Ltd, a company registered in Singapore (“we”, “us”). “You” means the person who applies, and the business they apply for.

What the beta is

The beta is early access to a product that is still being built. Features, editions, limits and how the app looks may change at any time. We may pause the beta, or stop it, for everyone or for one edition. Applying does not guarantee access to anything beyond what the site offers today.

The founding-member offer

  • Each edition has a set number of founding places, shown on its page (we may add places, but never take back one already given). We may give some places directly, for example to pilot customers; the count shown includes them. The first people to apply in an edition, up to the places left, get a founding place in it.
  • A founding place gives you the first six months of that edition free, counted from the day that edition launches.
  • Places are counted in the order applications reach us. Applying again with the same email does not take a second place.
  • One founding place per person and per business. A place cannot be transferred, sold or swapped for cash.
  • Once an edition's places are taken, later applicants join its waitlist.
  • We may change or withdraw the offer before an edition launches. If we do, we will still honour every founding place we have already confirmed to you.
  • After the six free months the edition continues only if you choose to pay for it. We will tell you the price before then.

Who can apply

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • The product covers places in the United States only.
  • The beta is for business use: planning work you or your business does.

What the information is, and what it is not

Please read this section: it is the one place we set out the product's limits.

  • Forecasts are estimates produced by weather models. They are not measurements taken at your site, and the conditions where you work can differ from them.
  • The results (verdicts, windows, chances and decision records) are information to help you plan. They are not instructions, and they are not advice for any particular job.
  • You remain responsible for your decisions and for following product labels, contracts, specifications, permits, safety rules and the judgement of your competent person on site. Where any of those differs from what the app shows, they win.
  • We do not guarantee that the information is accurate, complete or up to date, that the service will be available, or any outcome.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the laws of Singapore allow, we are not liable for crop loss, property damage, delay, lost profit, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the service. Our total liability to you for anything connected with the beta is limited to the amount you have paid us for it. During the beta that amount is zero.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Acceptable use

  • Use the service for your own planning.
  • Do not scrape it, resell its results, or send automated or bulk requests.
  • Rate limits apply. Requests over them are refused for a short while.
  • Do not try to get around the limits, the security of the service, or access you have not been given.

Your data

What we collect, and why:

  • Your application: name, email, business, edition, what you'd time, operation size and, if you give it, phone. We use it to run the beta, allocate founding places and contact you about the beta.
  • An anonymous visitor ID: a random number in a cookie (pw_vid) shared by preciseweather.ai and its subdomains (lp., dm. and mg.), so we can see how visitors move from a page to the app to an application. With it we record the pages you open and what you do in the app (for example adding a place or opening a job, never the place itself), which version of a page you saw, the kind of device (phone, tablet or computer), the US state you are browsing from, and the campaign tags or website that brought you. We do not record your name, email, IP address or precise location with it, and it is not linked to your name or email unless you apply to the beta: then the ID is stored with your application. We keep this record for 13 months. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we set no ID and record nothing.
  • Anonymous usage counts: how many times each edition's pages are viewed and its features used, per day. Nothing that identifies you is stored with them: no name, email, address, location or place. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we do not count you.
  • Weather requests: forecasts are fetched and cached by map grid cell (about 7 miles across), with no personal data attached.
  • Your browser's storage: your places, settings, limits and decision log are kept on your own device, not on our servers. Clearing your browser's data removes them.

We keep applications for the length of the beta and for 12 months after it ends, then delete them, and the visitor ID record for 13 months. You can ask us to delete your application at any time by writing to hi@preciseweather.ai. We do not sell personal data.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms during the beta. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page, and if a change matters to you we will tell you by email.

Ending the beta or your access

You can stop using the beta at any time, and ask us to delete your application. We may end the beta, or your access to it, at any time; if your access ends because you broke these terms, your founding place may end with it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
